Registrations are handled through LBC contacts listed below.

Registration period: January 1st thru December 31st annually.

*YOU MUST BE A REGISTERED USA BOXING MEMBER BEFORE TAKING YOUR COACHES CERTIFICATION CLASS*

NON-ATHLETES
Non-athletes – officials, coaches, physicians, individual sustaining members – must fill out a Non-Athlete Membership Form and a background check form and pay an annual fee. Money order payable to: South Texas Amateur Boxing Association.

ATHLETES
Athletes must fill out the Athlete Membership Form whether new, renewing membership, or requesting a duplicate passbook.

New members must furnish a birth certificate, two passport-style photos.

Renewing members must furnish their current passbook along with their application form.

New Master Boxers, in addition to furnishing a birth certificate and photos, must provide a general physical from their physician stating that the applicant is "fit to box" and have (1) no history of diabetes, high blood pressure, or chest pain (2) no history of chronic headaches (3) blood pressure less than 145/90 (4) graded exercise EKG every five years beginning at age 45 (5) normal eye examination by an opthalmologist every five years beginning at age 45.

Renewing Master Boxers must provide a "fit to box" letter with the elements listed above. EKG and eye examination are required if 45, or it has been five years since your last submission of an EKG or eye examination.

CLUB MEMBERSHIPS
Requests for club memberships, which include liability insurance, must be submitted to the Local Boxing Committee 43.
